ose Aldo and Frankie Edgar faced off today Saturday night (July 9, 2016)
at UFC 200 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. In a match up of elite
Featherweights, what adjustments must be made for either man to claim victory?
p-ranked Ultimate Fighting
Championship (UFC) Featherweight combatants Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar   rematch
for the interim strap this weekend (Sat., July 9, 2016) at UFC 200 inside
T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In Dec. 2015, things fell
apart for Aldo. After all the build up and hard work, he rushed into an early
knockout and lost his title to Conor McGregor. In this bout, the Brazilian can
begin his comeback trail by capturing the interim title.
Meanwhile, Edgar has been
dominant at Featherweight since losing his debut to Aldo. He’s more than earned
a title shot already, but "The Answer"   have to
get past "Scarface" to finally receive his chance at McGregor.
Let’s take a look at the
keys to victory for both men:
Jose Aldo

Record:
25-2

Key Wins:
Chad Mendes (UFC 179, UFC 142), Frankie Edgar (UFC 156), Ricardo Lamas (UFC 169)

Key Losses:
Conor McGregor (UFC 194)

Keys to
Victory
: Aldo is arguably the greatest fighter of all time. He's simply
elite in each area, as the Brazilian is a devastating Muay Thai striker,
Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt, and impossible to take down.

Outside of his sole loss,
Aldo gave each of his opponents fits with this combination of skills.
